My Mom, My SuperHero(ine)!

I know, I know!!!

You guys want to go..."Whats new ??? Every child thinks his or her mother is a Super-Heroine!". But, I guess sometimes, its nice to express what's on one's mind.

And, this one was definitely long overdue for a woman who has had the strongest and the most lasting impression on my life and for all good reasons (well!! some bad ones too, but I could delve into them later!!).

My Mother, in all terms, literal and figurative, is my ultimate Superhero(ine) who not only fought all the ghosts and demons for me (imaginative, of course!!!) when I was a tiny tot but also inculcated good values in me that many people appreciate in today's time.

I cannot thank her enough for the times she refused to give in to my every whim and fancy which today; has taught me the very difference between Need and Want.

I cannot thank her enough for the time she sacrificed buying that Sari she most wanted to wear to her friend's wedding and instead bought me a lovely dress that I wore to the same wedding!!!!

I cannot thank her enough for the time she was up and working hard despite her ill-health because I had invited my school-friends home for my birthday party the first time!!!

I cannot thank her enough for the times she simply understands what I want to say without me saying it out aloud, understanding my problems, my fears, my apprehensions, my joys and my triumphs!!

I cannot thank her enough for the time she saves up money and stacks it for me in my hour of need.

She is, in every sense of the word, PERFECT to me.
She is like God to me...or maybe, she really is God!

I wonder if I will ever have such a lasting impression upon my children, if God ever blesses me with them!

I love you a lot 'ma!!!
